Title: When the Wolves Start to Circle
Release: 14th February 2020
Label: Medusa Crush Recordings
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑: 𝕲𝖚𝖎𝖙𝖆𝖗 & 𝕭𝖆𝖘𝖘: Straight in with a Motorhead-Esque intro! With great zesty riffage, catchy choruses, sharp notes that are pure rock n’ roll melodies & rhythms, with muddy pickings of the bass
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑: 𝖁𝖔𝖈𝖆𝖑𝖘: Harking black to raw/shouty vocals with a painful & sorrow tone.
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑𝖑: 𝕯𝖗𝖚𝖒𝖘: Catchy coarse mixture of tempo drum patterns.
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖁: 𝕺𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖆𝖑𝖑: Coming across Blissful Stream, I was not expecting a doom metal act, that blends doom, black, death, punk, gothic, heavy metal/hard rock & rock n’ roll with inspiring dark folk legends
Equimanthorn has pulled off a hell of a complex & craftmanship of a full-length, with a runtime of thirty minutes, and eight outstanding - entertaining & compelling tracks.
Once part of the underground Swedish black metal mystics ‘Pest’, now more reflective animal, with music is direct and unfettered, each song as their own identity and unique sound & mood, from raw/savage, catchy, chord changes, accompaniments, fast/slow moments, outstanding riffage, drum patterns and vocals tones
An album not to be missed, a must-listen!!
*full of energy & enjoyable*
*pure extreme and dark* * a true masterpiece of craftmanship/musicanship*
for myself, loved it & enjoyed it
Crowing doom metal
like a dark, mysterious creature
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖁: 𝕬𝖗𝖙𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖐: All I can say is that the artwork is intriguing, catches the listeners eyes!.
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖁𝖑: 𝕺𝖚𝖙𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖉𝖎𝖓𝖌: where do I start?
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖁𝖑𝖑: 𝕯𝖎𝖘𝖑𝖎𝖐𝖊: none!
