𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑: 𝕲𝖚𝖎𝖙𝖆𝖗 & 𝕭𝖆𝖘𝖘: Combing fast-cold tormenting atmospheric blackened repetitive riffage & heavy melodies & short solos, with slowness and thicker, bassier sound of doom

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑: 𝖁𝖔𝖈𝖆𝖑𝖘: Mixture of snarling vocals that are frostbitten & evil (reminiscent of Abbath's style)

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑𝖑: 𝕯𝖗𝖚𝖒𝖘: Malefic gut-busting drum patterns & blast-beats that raw and nasty

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖁: 𝕺𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖆𝖑𝖑: Hailing the northern wastes of Sweden, a one-person act Cirkeln bursting from a blizzard of darkness and evil to tell stories of ancient nature and epic adventure within his debut EP release Stormlander that is an over thirty-minutes of the most tormenting doom-black metal

With only six cold songs on the EP, well only five, with track one, just been an intro, - once hitting the play button, the listen is unwelcome to the intro track "The Call from the Deep" with an unsettling and nerve-ranking atmospheric feeling, ritual summoning voices, then the rest of the EP bursts to life with an -Esque Immortal/Abbath atmospheric sound & singing, taking the listener into some impressive and outstanding mixture of tortuous of cold & raw old-school black, slow sincere doom metal feel with a hazy mist feeling around your ankles, change of tempos and mood within the songs  that will keep you hooked and suspense, not forgetting the gut-busting drum beats, with an epic saga of Bathory, a folk metal vibe of Isengard with many other various elements including folk/epic sound fx, change of melodies, tone, with a mixture of old-school/modern sound, energetic, with some outstanding craftsmanship & musicianship thrown in the mix

I thoroughly enjoyed this release, with the ground scale of epicist of fusion of folk, doom, black and various other elements, this a must listen and worth the attention; this doesn't play like any doom-black metal, that you will come across in a long time

**Just take a listen - worth the listen and playtime - not to be missed**

*outstanding* * *entertaining & well-executed* *mind-blowing*
