𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑𝖑: 𝕯𝖗𝖚𝖒𝖘: Fast heavy-pounding drum patterns & blast-beats

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖁: 𝕺𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖆𝖑𝖑: A new horror story anthology - metal horror band From Hell returns with a new album called Rats & Ravens.

Taking from the release is the third track 'Lilium' (the main focus of the story), is one horror-fest song, and even I took on my self to take a listen to their Ascent From Hell release, From Hell (for me) I found their music & sound to be one type-casted.....

Lilium is a dark and sinister track that is over the four-minute mark, (more oppressive & brutal than the last full-length release), the song itself is all over the place stylistically song with echoes of thrash, death and black metal all thrown into the mix, with Steve Smyth on the guitar (playing in bands like 'Testament', 'Dragonland' and few others), pounding drumming and a vocalist about to swallow the mic and spit it back out with deliverance of tone/style changes, with an -Esque ambient ending

In contrast, the overall of the song is brutally impressive while containing an experiencing guitarist, sharp in-depth, captures high tones with a biting and rich sound, dark & creepy, sinister vibe with a horror concept story

(set in the mid 13th Century, somewhere in Eastern Europe) A father disturbs an evil in the east. A witch comes to steal his son and the children of the village to make them her own. She sacrifices them and reanimates the dead with the blessings from the god of vermin. With rats, she brings them back to life and calls them Lilium.
