𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑: 𝕲𝖚𝖎𝖙𝖆𝖗 & 𝕭𝖆𝖘𝖘: The guitar playing, has no boundaries – a mixture of catchy melodies and riffs, from mid-pace to slow heavy/doomy riffs, with beautiful harmonization, powerful chord changes and tempos, [sharp & crystallized solos]
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑: 𝖁𝖔𝖈𝖆𝖑𝖘: Reminiscent of Candlemass & Pagan Alter vocals, with a tint of Black Sabbath
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑𝖑: 𝕯𝖗𝖚𝖒𝖘: -Esque of both classic epic-heavy metal & doom metal, with a driven force of epic beats & sound.
𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖁: 𝕺𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖆𝖑𝖑: With only eight tracks, that keep you coming back for more, Rämlord as pushed the boundaries with this full-length, and gone all out with sound and music changes within each track.
This album is speechless and beautifully [with a time vortex concept feel] beginning with a rock vibe opening track, then moving into a tradition heavy/doom fixation, then track three onwards, the band finishes off with a classic heavy rock/epic doom feeling, that is (overall) well-crafted music and compelling lyrics. Rämlord (for me) have created a Cthulhu of their very own cosmos existents of mixing various compositions of Operatic screams/monk chants, harmonica, atmospheric keys, elements of hard rock, epic-doom/traditional heavy metal, that together, created a unique (outstanding) sound.
Their new single from the album, [track two] ‘Dark Waters’ (which features former Sentenced front man Taneli Jarva), this track is different, compare to the rest of the album, this tack, digs deep into the (heavy riffs) proto-doom metal era of Sabbath & Candlemass sound (whole text purely inspired by H.P. Lovecraft, as well as the middle part, hears a quote from Lovecraft).
*sound of their own*
