𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑: 𝕲𝖚𝖎𝖙𝖆𝖗 & 𝕭𝖆𝖘𝖘We have a mixture of clean, cold, slow melodically, progressive harmonisation riffing and beautiful strumming/pickings of the acoustic, dark keyboard inserts with deep pickings of the bass.

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑: 𝖁𝖔𝖈𝖆𝖑𝖘: The vocals are a nightmare-ish of snarling with brief moments of whippers.

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖑𝖑: 𝕯𝖗𝖚𝖒𝖘: Slow drumming, with an epic soundscape, then halfway through the album, the drumming comes from aggressive and harder!

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖑𝖁: 𝕺𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖆𝖑𝖑: Deliverance of a truly immersive experience, with upon the first moment, the listener is welcome to a beautiful piano introduction, with only eleven songs, of forty-minutes, that seem to split into two halves, with the first part having this dark (haunting) Gothic (beauteous) atmospheric soundscapes, then second half moving into a progressive sound.

For me, this was an excellent experience and discovery, and for any extreme metal fan, The Nightslaker is part of a trilogy, base on a story of an angel decided to descend to Earth to protect humans. But one must go and listen to Serpent’s other band ‘Sercati’ [click here for the review], and there first full-length <<Tales of the Fallen (2011) >> where the story begins “we follow the fall of the angel and the search for his place in a foreign world.”, Where Nightstalker is the angel named’ The Nightstalker’ as we follow the angel in his fight against anaesthetist: a messenger of Lucifer.

*dark & entertaining* *excellent experience and discovery* * a true masterpiece*

a dark, compelling trilogy

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖁: 𝕬𝖗𝖙𝖜𝖔𝖗𝖐: I love the artwork, it as this old-school Gothic Rock look and feel, but when you look closer, and the title of the album, you see what that it could be the pits of hell.

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖁𝖑: 𝕺𝖚𝖙𝖘𝖙𝖆𝖓𝖉𝖎𝖓𝖌: For me, it’s not just the music or the Serpents vocals that are outstanding, but how Serpent, as these two bands (both we a different sound), but to combine the two into one trilogy.

𝕾𝖎𝖓 𝖁𝖑𝖑: 𝕯𝖎𝖘𝖑𝖎𝖐𝖊: none !!!
